Author Event: "Santa is a Vampire" by Damian Serbu

Join us at City Lit Books on Friday, November 30th, 2018 at 6:30 pm for a reading with Damian Serbu, author of Santa is a Vampire.

Simon the Elf wants to tell you the true story behind Jolly Ole St. Nick. Yeah, he’s a vampire. But that alleged gift giver and lover of children hides more than that fact from you. And what about Mrs. Claus and Rudolph? Venture into a world of enslaved elves, enchanted animals, and death wrought by Santa himself. With his sharp wit, Simon will lead you into the darkest realms of Christmas in Santa is a Vampire by Simon the Elf, with Damian Serbu. Warning: Simon cusses a lot. But you would, too, if Santa held you captive.

Damian Serbu writes gay fiction, primarily in the genres of horror, speculative fiction, or flirting within the darker realms of magic and vampires; strangely enough, this often includes romantic elements. He previously published six novels (currently out of print) and a few short stories. In 2017, he began working with NineStar Press. His seventh novel, The Vampire's Protege, is now available, as well as the re-release of a streamlined and improved The Vampire's Angel! Forthcoming later this year: The Vampire's Quest and Santa Is a Vampire! He is a member of Horror Writers of America. He lives in Chicago with his husband of twenty-plus years and two dogs.
